About Us

Learn about our story, mission, and the dedicated team working to create positive change in the dance community.

Our Story

Dancers Beyond Labels was founded with a vision to transform the dance industry by promoting body neutrality and addressing the eating disorder crisis among youth dancers. Our organization emerged from the recognition that the dance world needed a dedicated voice to advocate for healthier practices and more inclusive environments.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we strive to change the standards and conversations around body image in the dance industry and society. We believe that everyone should feel comfortable and confident in their own skin, regardless of their body shape or size.

Our organization is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who share this belief and are committed to making a positive change in the dance community. Through our various programs and initiatives, we work tirelessly to create a healthier, more supportive environment for dancers everywhere.
